Subject: Question about Geary Whiting's school
Hello, Sandy. I ran across your website while googling for mention of Geary Whiting’s CEMT school – so I thought I’d drop you a line to get your impression of Geary’s school and some words of experience, if you’d be so kind.
My wife, Sheri, and I are wrapping-up our study of human anatomy & massage therapy (we’re brand new to the massage therapy field), and intend to enroll in the October ‘06 session at Geary’s. I spoke with Geary last night and was very encouraged – he believes we can succeed in a partnership offering equine & people massage. (Our plans include RVing between horse shows/events and setting up a chair & table, offering human and horse massages as well as calling on stables in the areas we’re traveling through.)
I’ve been working on our business plan and I’d really appreciate hearing your opinion of the demand for equine massage and getting a bit of insight into how you got your start, some pitfalls to avoid, start-up surprises, networking tips, predictability of the business, repeat vs. new business, special offers/demos, what to include/exclude on my website, etc.
My wife and I appreciate any assistance you’re able to provide – thanks very much in advance. Best regards - have a great day,
Ralph Carpenter
